About the Artist

Eleni Karadimou is a Greek abstract expressionist painter whose work explores emotion, atmosphere, and memory through bold gesture and layered color. With a background in graphic design, she brings a sharp sense of composition and visual rhythm to her canvases, creating works that feel both instinctive and meticulously balanced.

Karadimou studied at the School of Graphic Arts and Artistic Studies at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, graduating from the Department of Graphic Design. Her teachers included Takis Katsoulidis, Giannis Lasithiotakis, Elena Navrozidou, Gioula Rozakou, Olga Kozakou-Tsiara, Rania Kapeliari, Giorgos Tsiouris, and Konstantinos Papastamoulis, among others.

She worked for many years as a graphic designer and as a web and touchscreen app designer, creating educational and cultural applications for museums, foundations, and public and private institutions in Greece and abroad.

Parallel to her design career, painting has been her continuous and driving force. Karadimou has presented her work in two solo exhibitions, along with more than forty group exhibitions across Greece and abroad.
